Consider 2 people in different circumstances:

  1. Good job, income, stability, schooling, family situations, spouse, comfortable home, but can’t have kids and badly wants to
  2. Paying off debts, family suffering from cancer, difficult classes and rigorous schedule, basement flooded, personal belongings stolen

Who has worse circumstances? Well, both of these people were actually me and Kadee at one point in time of life.

I had the thought while we were talking about pregnancy as a challenge one night. We have so much to be grateful for, even when it seems like things are stacked up against us, changing focus makes you realize that things are actually mostly stacked up for us. That’s the blessing of counting your blessings.

If you can count enough blessings ANY hardship looks small by comparison, and that can help you stay happy in any circumstance.
